Dr. Steven E. Flores



    Dr. Flores completed his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University while on scholarship, graduating summa cum laude.  He was awarded a scholarship to Baylor College of Medicine where he completed his medical degree and graduated with honors and election into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society.

    He completed an internship and residency at Northwestern University in Chicago in orthopedic surgery, working with the physicians for the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks. While in training, he was involved with athletic coverage of various Chicago area public schools.  He returned to Houston to complete fellowship training in sports medicine at the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute serving as an assistant to the team physicians for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, University of Houston athletics and various area high schools. 

    Dr. Flores currently serves as a team physician for the  Houston Texans, Houston Rockets and local high schools.

He has been involved in various projects concerning knee and shoulder injuries, with publications and presentations at the local and national level.
